Long before the cultural revolutions of the ‘60s and ‘70s, Elvis was sparking a dynastic change of hands in American society. And by his own admission, much of it was by accident. Whenever his performances caused a stir, Elvis was always the first to ask what all the fuss was about. When questioned if he was trying to provoke a response from his audience, Elvis innocently replied that he was just doing what came naturally. Inside you will read about...✓ Elvis and His Twin✓ That’s All Right✓ Presley’s Controversial Rise✓ Elvis Joins the Army✓ Comeback in Las Vegas✓ Last Years and DeathAnd much more!According to Elvis, as much as James Dean was a “rebel without a cause,” he was a rebel completely by accident. If we believe him, everything he did that led to his rise to stardom was just some sort of cosmic alignment of happenstance. Elvis claimed that when he went into Sun Records to record his first song, he wasn’t looking to become famous; he maintained that he just wanted to record a song for his mom’s birthday. This book will let you decide for yourself as you learn about the life, the legend, and the unmistakable icon—Elvis Presley.Book Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Review :
A near 5 stars with only a couple of typos. I am one of those who can remember some of Elvis' earliest days, when 45s and 78s carried the tunes of the day! I was going on 28 years of age when he died, and sadly, some of the speculation about his life was abhorrent. This book's only detraction for me is the over-emphasis on the 'dark' side of Elvis, rather than the fact he remains the most sold artist of all time, and if not, very close to it. How many other artists have the number of 'Elvis Impersonators' that he has or the pure vocal range the man had, without benefit of specialized sound studios. Sadly, one of the worst influences in the life of Elvis would have to be that of Colonel Parker, who kept Elvis from touring world-wide because the man had no passport. And yet, because Elvis was an honorable man, he stuck by his oral agreement to remain with Colonel Parker til the end. His life ended much too soon, but if I were a betting man, I'd say a distraught Elvis was ready to join his Mom, given she died within a few days of his, though some years earlier. My Mom and Grandmother died within a few days of each other, though different years. Elvis was surrounded by many people but was the loneliest man in the room. Some say he took the coward's way out, but I say, give the man his due....he's watching US from a heavenly perch. Everyone thinks they know all they need to know, all that is interesting, about Elvis Presley (1935-1977). This short "Hourly History" book, despite its shortness, contains lots of information that will inform and fascinate readers. It contains a wealth of information, such as: he had a twin, how he started, his early hits, controversial rise, military years, return to civilian life, comeback in Las Vegas, his last years, what caused his death.Readers will find, as President Jimmy Carter said when Elvis died: he “permanently changed the face of American popular culture.” Read Online Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Download Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) PDF Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Mobi Free Reading Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Download Free Pdf Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) PDF Online Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Mobi Online Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Reading Online Elvis Presley: A Life From Beginning to End (Biographies of Musicians) Read Online Hourly History Download Hourly History Hourly History PDF Hourly History Mobi Free Reading Hourly History Download Free Pdf Hourly History PDF Online Hourly History Mobi Online Hourly History Reading Online Hourly HistoryRead Rivers of London Vol. 8: The Fey & The Furious By Ben Aaronovitch
